The Vixen Socials and Events
Oh Vixen Girls are Wonderful!
If there's one thing Vixens love more than cheerleading, it's partying! Our Wednesday night AU socials are one night during the week where girls from each squad come together and enjoy a night out, lead by their Social Secs. Although no Wessex Wednesday is ever the same, a few things can be guaranteed: Always listen to your social secs and social rules are to be upheld at all times (expect a funnel if you're late!), we love a joint social with other teams, we have some cracking social themes so make sure you follow them or take punishment at the social secs discretion, learn the chants- 'Oh Vixen Girls' will probably be unleashed at least 3 times, and last but not least, if in doubt: OCIES!
As well as weekly socials, there are also annual events such as our Christmas meal, Varsity night, the Superbowl social, AU Ball and of course the Committee Handover Social.
This year our social secs are Jo Perkins and Harriet Yorke, and it can be guaranteed that the famous Vixen socials will be just as well-known as they have been in the past.

Fundraisers
Each term, the PR and Sponsorship girls, Taylor Burrows and Lydia Wells will organise a fundraiser to assist with the running of the club. All AU Clubs, students and friends are invited to attend and help us raise money to keep our club running, and to keep the cost for girls to join and participate as low as possible.
This year saw the Vixens host a fundraisers following the themes of 'Not your sport' and 'Let me be your fantasy' and were both very successful in raising vital funds for the squad.

Vixens on Tour
Each year, the vixens head out in force along with other teams from the AU to Salou for Tour. Drinking, fancy dress, socialising with other teams and unis, recovering from hangovers on the beach (and little bit of sport) make Tour the ultimate week, with many Vixens listing it as a highlight for the time on the squad.
